Red Mountain Constella Clubhouse & Cabins

Set high on the backside of Granite Mountain with no vehicle access, Studio 9 designed the Constella Clubhouse and its surrounding overnight cabins as a hybrid timber frame and wood frame complex. By pairing an exposed heavy timber frame with conventional wood-frame infill, the design balances structural performance, buildability, and material handling constraints unique to a remote, mid-mountain site. The result reads as a modern, high-elevation extension of RED's century-old backcountry cabin culture — both rustic and at home in the rugged landscape.
